CounterBalance is a modular torsion spring system designed to take all the effort out of lifting and supporting lids, covers and electro-mechanical equipment.  The heart of the system is a torsion bar and cam interface that assures precise energy storage/release required to counteract gravitational effects.  Although there are many custom designs, we have developed three basic types that are suitable for most applications models CB160, CB222 and CB318.  A simple Generic Product Comparison Chart is available to illustrate the advantages of a CounterBalance.
